Aloha to André: Andy 'Bubble' Chambers, Manu Grafenauer, Max Matissek, Max Rowe, Casey Hauser, Mart Kuperij, Carolina Butrich Schwartzmann, Marco Lufen, Balz Müller, Oli Stau, Klaas Voget, Fabio Calò, the list goes on and on. A special moment during this day, when the ashes from Andre were released back into the South-Africa sea. South-Africa was one of André's favorite places.
Tanis Confectionery: I'm very happy and proud to announce that my collaboration with Tanis Confectionary will continue in 2014! Tanis Confectionery was one of the first windsurf pioneers in Holland. Trough-out there ambition and passion for the sports, Tanis Confectionery will support me to realize my dreams and goals in windsurfing. Therefor i'm very grateful, that this collaboration will continue for this season.
PWA Worldcup in the Netherlands: A historic moment, having the World Cup back in Holland. The last World Cup has been in Zandvoort back in 2000, so it has been a while. Not having been proparly healed, the organizers of the World Cup at PWA DAM7 asked me if I could fulfill the roll as a speaker, during the event for both PWA and EFPT competitions. Eventually that was a small part of my Job at DAM7. It became clear, that I could help out a lot more for both PWA and the EFPT. I helped out with the media, the riders, the riders tent, registration, price giving, coordination, rescue-guards, for the crew etc To sum it up; A great learning experience working together with a great team. It was kind of weird to stand on the other side, instead of on the water, though I was glad that I could invest my knowledge and my skills to help out with this great World Cup event. So much positive energy :)
PWA DAM 7 Final movie
The video was created by www.continentseven.com who did an excellent job capturing all the footage during the entire WorldCup event of DAM 7. The whole team had to face sometimes gnarly weather condition, so thumbs up for the C7-crew.
