Neilpryde Wizard 2016
For all of you windsurfers out there! Somedays ago I received the whole new Neilpryde Wizard 2016. After intense testing for well over one year by the NEILPRYDE WINDSURFINGdesign team and team riders, the new Wizard came out. My experience; incredible sail pop (even way more than before..) Very wide windrange, loads of control, quick planning and as one might expected, lighter than ever. Yes it’s different and I’m convinced it will blow your mind too! Each sail does have the same characteristics, though details are different. Some sizes might be just used in powerful winds some in lighter. For instance the 4,2 and 3,8 no need for loads of pumping characteristics. Giving these sizes more control like a 5m2 makes you feel in control, in even the craziest wind conditions given by mother-nature. As for the bigger sizes (5,1 up to 5,7). Amazingly fast planning but still loads of control whilst being overpowered. To sum it up; each sail has it’ own flavor and I’m glad these peaces of art will help me getting my level on a new height. And you got to admit they are quite fashionable too right?!

Twins Club
Last weekend JP Australia SUP and NP Surf were representative at Twinsclub Bredene-/ Belgium.The weekend was given a various of weather types which made it challenging for the competitors to compete in both Wave and Race disciplines. Eventually on Sunday the weather conditions were allowing the organization to run a couple of races. So a intensive battle was fought out on the water to earn the title. As for the Wave discipline, the conditions never turned out to be suitable to compete, though the JP Australia SUP team were giving it at shot to get the best or perhaps the most fun out of the given conditions.After all it was a great event giving the opportunity to enthuse people to get into the sport of SUP. Giving them the chance to try out a various number of newest NP Paddles and JP Australia SUP Boards such as the: JP Wide Body Surf, probably the best board for a waves up to 2m. and for the ambitious rider who likes to improve his skills fast. JP Australia Fusion, a very good entrance board to start playing around in waves, the Wide Body which works fine in a versatile water conditions flatwater and in waves a true all rider. Physical test at Inspanningloont
Last Friday I underwent physiological tests at Inspanningloont and at SMA Utrecht. The test included a VO2 Max test, blood samples, lung function tests, cardiac scans and multiple other test’s. It was a fun and intense at the same time, as I needed to give it all. To sum it up, full body check with the ultimate goal getting more data information on how can improve my physical training.
